COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Community involvement gives ATSG employees power to bring positive, measurable change to both the communities in which they live and work. The benefits of corporate community involvement are two-fold, providing positive returns to local charitable organizations and neighborhoods plus boosting our performance indicators through employee engagement and team building.

FALL CHARITY CAMPAIGN

Employees of Air Transport Services Group companies have organized an annual charity drive every autumn since 1984. The drive first began as a Christmas fund-raising activity by employees of the Airborne Express all-cargo airline ABX Air to help the local United Way support various agencies and programs in and around Wilmington, Ohio. The charity drive quickly grew in size along with the company to what today raises hundreds of thousands of dollars through various activities during the campaign and throughout the year.

By being engaged and involved in the Fall Charity Campaign events and giving each employee of the ATSG companies impacts their community making it a better place for all citizens.

VOLUNTEERISM

ATSG supports a wide range of charities in addition to our employees volunteering their time and items to causes throughout their communities.

Our program Head Start Heroes allowed employees from our Wilmington, Ohio, location to spend time mentoring and reading to children enrolled in the local head start program. Employees from multiple locations donated items in support of natural disaster relief. These are just two examples of the many charitable projects our employees were involved in throughout 2022.
