HETE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

JOE HETE

Joe Hete serves as Executive Chairman of Air Transport Services Group, Inc. He joined ABX Air in 1980 as an Accounting Manager and moved up in the company until he became CEO of ATSG in 2003. Joe's work ethic is well known throughout the ATSG companies and has served as an inspiration for those he's worked with.

The Hete Family exhibits the same dedication to their community. Joe has held multiple board positions for Clinton Memorial Hospital, United Way of Clinton County, YMCA, and most recently the Clinton County LEGACY Fund and Clinton County Foundation boards. In addition to serving his local community, his belief in the value of education has led him to currently sit on the Foundation board for the University of Akron College of Business and be a member of the college's Advancement Council.

ELIGIBILITY

The Hete Family Scholarship is available to employees and children of employees up to 22 years of age. The recipient must be working towards a technical, associates or bachelor of science degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), medical, business, or Technical/Vocational field of study. You can reapply for scholarship renewal up to three times, but there is no guarantee of renewal.
